Natural fibres only
Wool, linen, cotton and silk from certified mills. No virgin synthetics — if it cannot return to the earth one day, we do not cut it.
Our story
We make fewer, better clothes — a permanent collection designed to be worn for decades, not discarded by spring.
Why we exist
Fashion moves at a pace nobody asked for: thousands of new styles a week, each designed to feel old by the next. VELORA was founded as the opposite — one permanent collection, improved slowly, where a coat bought today is still the right coat in ten years.
That discipline shapes everything: natural fibres that age gracefully, silhouettes drawn from tailoring rather than trends, and construction honest enough to repair rather than replace. We would rather sell you one perfect piece than five almost-right ones.
What we hold to
Wool, linen, cotton and silk from certified mills. No virgin synthetics — if it cannot return to the earth one day, we do not cut it.
Buttons sewn by hand, hems finished by a person whose name is stitched inside your garment. Machines assist; people decide.
Send any VELORA piece back at any age and we repair it free. A garment that lasts decades is the only honest sustainability claim.
Fourteen ateliers, all visited twice a year, all paid above living-wage benchmarks we publish in our annual report.

The journey
2019
VELORA begins with twelve pieces and one belief: a wardrobe should be edited, not expanded. Every pattern is still cut from those first blocks.
2021
We open a dedicated atelier so finishing, repairs and quality live under one roof — and every maker signs the garments they complete.
2023
The repairs-for-life promise launches. The oldest garment returned so far was from our very first run — it went home with a new cuff and its story intact.
2026
Thirty-two pieces, refined for seven years, now form the complete permanent collection. Nothing seasonal, nothing disposable.
LatestBrowse the permanent collection — thirty-two pieces, each made to be the last of its kind you need to buy.
